Incite MHK creates a space in which the community can unite around the celebration of public art by facilitating events and inviting artists to create art in public spaces.

Incite MHK is the brainchild of six community members with a passion for bringing Manhattan together through the arts. Through the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation’s Deihl Community Grants Program, the group was able to hire artists to paint a mural in town and inspire other events celebrating the arts in town. Event promotion is made possible by pro bono work from local strategic marketing agency 502. The group intends to make InciteMHK an annual celebration with different events every year.
